*I was originally going to do all US Saturn games, decided that was too much, then settled on all US TurboGrafx-16 games. One of my favorite Youtube series called Turbo Views was just about to finish his run of all US Turbo games so I figured I should start this series with all US Master System games. If it does well, the Turbo is next.

*The reason I released this episode as early as I did was to keep ahead of firmware updates on the various products. As often is the case when I review products like these, a firmware update will come out before I release the episode and I have to scramble to change, add, delete, update the review so it's not out of date. That's a lot of extra work I'd have to do when I'd already be working on something else. It literally is the worst thing about reviewing products like these, so it's just best to get it out and done ASAP.

*Johnny Millennium (Happy Console Gamer) returns. Long time viewers will remember that he appeared in the other Ys episode from years and years ago.
*Presented in 4K 60 HDR mainly because the gameplay was captured that way since I was playing on a PS5. I figured it would be a good chance to test out the hDR workflow. It is NOT fun. NOt only do you have to worry about the HDR, you have to worry about how Youtube tonemaps it for non-HDR displays which isn't always very good. You can improve this by using the command-line-only Youtube metadata tool and giving it a LUT but it doesn't work very well either. It'll probably be a while before I do a long-form HDR video again on Youtube.

*Originally the F-16 Fighting Falcon segment was written, recorded, and edited as a regular game review, just like all of the other games in the episode. I had remembered my Virtual Hydlide segment in the original episode of Games That Make the Console Look Weak, so I re-wrote and re-recorded the F-16 Fighting Falcon part. The only thing that remained was the shot of me with two controllers, which is why I don't look ExTreEe33mE in that shot.

This end skit will get better with age when the stock thing is no longer at the front of people's minds.
