Notes:
*I originally started this episode as entirely PlayStation-focused, but switched to Saturn when it became too overwhemling. I decided to throw Nintendo 64 in there because why not... it has to go somewhere.

No gameplay... just a bunch of games, game boxes, shelves, and the such.

Notes:
*The second bonus episode in a single month! This is the first time there have been 4 new episodes in a single month in a very long while. There were 5 potential Sundays in this July.

*First episode to feature the new Panasonic GH6 camera. It was only used for a few shots in the tour, all of the talking head shots, and the end skit. The rest was done with the Panasonic GH5S as usual.

Games Shown:

Arcade - Wing War, Hachoo!, Toy Fighter, Dancing Eyes, WaveRunner, WaveRunner GP, Extermination, Aqua Jack, Solar Assault, Hippodrome, Star Wars Trilogy Arcade, Daytona USA 2

Notes:
*I was really able to step up my emulation game thanks to a new Windows PC dedicated to doing nonsense like that, which allows me to show more complex games. Don't get me wrong, I don't use it for day to day stuff. Blech!

Ep. 378 - Fan Translations 3

Saturn - Grandia, Stellar Assault SS, Valhollian, Tokyo Highway Battle '97

Notes:
*Usually when I do these types of end skits where it's amateur-ish like this one, it's because I couldn't think of anything else. They usually come out pretty good though I think.

Ep. 377 - The MODE Button
Release Date: 07/02/23 Runtime: 15:54
Games Shown:

Genesis, Sega CD, and 32X - Various games for demonstrative purposes.

Notes:

Notes:
*Another super long episode.

*The end skit is a parody of the Youtube channel called Console Wars. It was actually shot for episode 380 but moved here as it was more appropriate for this episode since it deals with the Arcade Card version of Art of Fighting. The end skit that was originally attached to this episode was moved and will appear on episode 380.

Notes:
*This episode is probably a bit too long for what it is. Should've saved some for another time. Oh well.

*The end skit was inspired by episode 5, Naxat Video Pinball Games.

Notes:
*The end skit was originally on episode 370, as was me pointing out the Monkey Ball shirt. Those were changed to Polygon Joe after the episode was shot so that stuff was moved here.

Release Date: 04/23/23 Runtime: 14:17
Games Shown:

TurboGrafx-16 - Various games on card and CD to illustrate the Turbo EverDrive Pro in action.

Notes:
*The end skit is more "edutainment" than anything. I really hope it helps people learn how to spell TurboGrafx properly... because they rarely do.

*Bonus episode.

Ep. 370 - Games that Push Hardware Limits 10
Release Date: 04/02/23 Runtime: 31:58
Games Shown:

Genesis - Star Cruiser, Hard Drivin', Race Drivin', Muhammad Ali Heavyweight Boxing, Mig-29 Fighter Pilot, ResQ, Virtua Racing, Out of this World, Flashback, F-15 Strike Eagle II, F-22 Interceptor, F-117 Night Storm, Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker, Steel Talons, LHX Attack Chopper
TurboGrafx-16 - Falcon, Gunboat
SNES - Race Drivin', StarFox, StarFox 2, Stunt Race FX, Dirt Trax FX, Vortex, Dirt Racer, Doom, Out of this World, Flashback, Steel Talons, Drakken, Dragon View

Notes:
*This episode focuses on 3D polygons on consoles in the 16-bit era.

*No humans appear on camera in this episode. Well except for the couple in the end sketch and my hands when showing the SuperFX and SVP chips.

*I originally had a normal intro, appeared on camera between segments and had a completely different end sketch. Yoshi Vu asked if he could help. I gave him some ideas for an end sketch. He sent me some low-poly renders so I replaced the talking head segments with those. Then for no reason he sent a dancing low poly Joe over. So I picked some good dance moves and created the first part of the end sketch, though Yoshi rendered them. Yoshi created the second part of the end sketch based on a music video he likes. Then we kept talking and replaced the intro.

Ep. 369 - Every Game for the SNES Superscope and SEGA Menacer

Sega CD - Corpse Killer, Crime Patrol, Mad Dog McCree, Mad Dog 2, Who Shot Johnny Rock?
32X CD - Corpse Killer

Notes:
*12th Anniversary episode! The first episode of Game Sack was released 2 days shy of 12 years ago to this one.

*The end skit was thought up on the spot. The only thing we knew going into it is that it would be an "Impress Your Friends" entry.

*Getting the Menacer to work was a huge pain. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. Had to buy another Menacer from eBay. Getting the SuperScope to work was also a chore as it had to be captured with RGB, but Dave doesn't have an RGB-capable CRT monitor. SuperScope games must be played on a CRT for them to work, obviously. So we just used the luma cable connected to the composite input of his TV, split that and then that went into a RetroTink 5x. That's right, Dave had to play these games in black and white while capturing.

Ep. 368 - The Nintendo 64DD
Release Date: 03/19/23 Runtime: 32:29
Games Shown:

Nintendo 64DD - Randnet Disk, Sim City 64, Doshin the Giant 1, Doshin the Giant Tinkling Toddler Liberation Front! Assemble!, Mario Artist - Paint Studio, Mario Artist - Talent Studio, Mario Artist - Polygon Studio, Mario Artist - Commnications Kit, Japan Pro Tour Golf 64, F-Zero X Expansion Kit
Gamecube - Doshin the Giant

Notes:
*This was a fun episode to do, much more so than I thought it would be. I had to replace a ribbon cable on the 64DD after disassembling it for the stop motion animation. Now I have 6 spare ribbon cables.

Ep. 367 - Games that Make the Console Look Weak 4
Release Date: 03/5/23 Runtime: 28:47
Games Shown:

PC Engine - Batman
Genesis - Curse, Super Thunder Blade, Battlemaster, Chase HQ 2, Turbo Out Run
SNES - Rapjam Volume 1, Bronkie the Brontosaurus
Game Boy Color - Test Drive Off-Road 3
PlayStation 2 - London Cab Challenge

Notes:
*After I had edited the Bronkie the Brontosaurus segment, I redid it with the Monster Truck yelling voice (whatever you wanna call it) in a similar fashion to how I did F-16 Fighting Falcon in a previous episode about weak games. But it ended up not being that funny, so I left the segment as it currently is.

Ep. 366 - Same Name, Different Game 3
Release Date: 02/19/23 Runtime: 43:51
Games Shown:

Arcade - Jurassic Park, Ninja Gaiden
NES - Jurassic Park, RoboCop vs The Terminator, Ninja Gaiden

Genesis - Jurassic Park, RoboCop vs The Terminator, Ninja Gaiden, Taz-Mania, Sparkster, Castle of Illusion
Game Boy - RoboCop vs The Terminator, Taz-Mania (Sunsoft), Taz-Mania (THQ)
Game Gear - Ninja Gaiden, Taz-Mania
SNES - Jurassic Park, RoboCop vs The Terminator, Taz-Mania, Sparkster
Sega CD - Jurassic Park
Xbox - Ninja Gaiden
PlayStation 3 - Castle of Illusion

Notes:
*I had lots of fun doing the skeleton end skit, mainly because it's so absurd.

*There is an editing error around 5 minutes and 20 seconds in, during the Jurassic Park arcade part. The sound repeats/plays lower and there is a black screen. I remember going back a few weeks after I had completed the epsiode to update the Jurassic Park arcade section. I don't recall the information that I was changing/updating, but apparently in the process a few things got shifted and the minor glitch now exists on Youtube forever!

Ep. 365 - Criminally Overlooked Games 5

Games Shown:

NES - WURM
Master System - Cyborg Hunter
Genesis - Beyond Oasis
SNES - Skyblazer, Final Fight 3
Saturn - Legend of Oasis
PlayStation - Dragon Valor

Notes:
*I had to play through Cyborg Hunter twice because of the bug mentioned in the episode, but that gave me a good opportunity to capture it being played in both PSG and FM sound. No regrets!

Notes:
*Several games from each series listed above are also shown briefly.

*Out Run 2's gameplay footage was upscaled to 4K with Topaz Video AI as an experiment. The Xbox Ninja Gaiden footage was scaled the same way but to 1080p.

Notes:
*I've been wanting to do this since I did the Nintendo 64 Expansion Pak episode. I originally intended to wait a bit longer, but I couldn't wait and just went ahead and made the episode.

@2011-2023 Game Sack
