Xbox 360 - Far East of Eden Ziria
*After the "Every Sega CD game in North America" episode, I wanted to do on that was quick and easy. This turned out to be anything but. The Mystical Ninja Goemon Zero segment turned out to be more than I thought it would be. Then later Saturn prototypes of Prize Fighter and Sacred Pools were found, so I decided to include those. A couple of weeks after that, Victor Ireland informed me of the Far East of Eden Ziria video he had and sent it to me. I ended up removing a SNES game that I can't even remember the name of. It was the shortest, least interesting, and weakest segment in the video, barely even being an alpha.

Genesis Mini 2 - Everything that's on it, all 61 games.
*This episode was released mid-week on a Monday instead of waiting for the following Sunday just to get it out while people still cared about the Genesis Mini 2.

Game Boy Advance - Asterix and Obelix XXL
*I got so caught up in the end skit that I almost made it a shot-for-shot/line-for-line remake of the Zelda commercial and forgot to include anything original or funny. Well it could still be argued that it's not funny, I suppose.
Master System - Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars, Space Harrier, Altered Beast

*I probably enjoyed making fun of other channels begging for likes and subs with the end skit a little too much.
*I bought the wireless lav mics just for this end skit. I had the entire scene set up and scripted and had to leave the camera and lights, etc in place while I waited a few days for them to show up.

*Pat Kilbane guest hosts this episode. Long time reviewers will remember Pat as the Humor Coach in episode 137 "Games We've Always Wanted to Talk About". Pat's role here is much more integrated.
*I've been wanting to do this episode before I even met Pat, but could never figure out how to make it work correctly since I didn't know a lot about D&D. Since Pat was in town for me to work on his documentary "The Dreams in Gary's Basement", this provided an excellent opportunity to finally make it happen in a way that is hopefully entertaining.
*For the end skit, Pat did the set decoration and made me create characters on a notepad. He made me roll dice to set the stats. No detail is too small for Pat.

*Return of the Radio Buddy.
NES - Montezuma's Revenge
Genesis - The Cursed Knight, Metal Dragon, Mad Stalker, Mega Turrican Director's Cut
SNES - Super Turrican Director's Cut
Dreamcast - Portal, Shadow Gangs
*So many camera shots for this particular episode, more than it seems when you watch it. I had to redo a few due to setting the shutter speed lower than the framerate, causing the appearance of dropped frames. Yikes!
*Montezuma's Revenge (Master System), Mad Stalker (X68000), and Super Turrican 2 make brief appearances.

*Been wanting to do this one for a while, but RPGs take a while to capture adequate amounts of gameplay as you can imagine.
*Might be the longest amount of time I've spent making a single episode, clocking it at roughly 4 weeks. The project file size totaled over 850GB as well.

*I originally planned to do only the North American releases, but there weren't a huge amount of games that were exclusive to Japan so I decided to do them all.
*The longest episode so far.
Xbox 360 - Gears of War, Ridge Racer 6, Test Drive Unlimited, Ridge Racer Unbounded, Burnout Revenge, Lost Odyssey, Otomedius Excellent, Raiden IV, Omega Five, Raiden Fighters Aces, Halo Reach, Fable III, Street Fighter IV Ultra, Dead or Alive 4, Crackdown, Alan Wake, Forza Horizon, Dead Rising, Infinite Undiscovery, Bullet Witch, Ace Combat 6, Ninja Gaiden 2, Ninja Blade
*First episode in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound. Since many Xbox 360 games were in 5.1, I figured this would be a perfect excuse to make an episode in surround sound. It definitely added to the work load, but it was worth it. I'll do more 5.1 episodes in the future here and there, especially as support grows in the Youtube apps that support it.
NES - Karnov, Metal Storm, SCAT, The Adventures of Bayou Billy
Genesis - ESWAT, Strider
Turbo Duo - Exile 2 Wicked Phenomenon
*It was a ton of fun making the Streets of Rage 2 end skit. My goal was to have the camera moving at all times when the music was playing.
NES - Yeah Yeah Beebiss II
Genesis - Demons of Asteborg, The Cursed Knight
Game Boy Color - Space EX
Neo Geo - Xeno Crisis
Dreamcast - Flea!, Intrepid Izzy, Rush Rush Rally Reloaded
*I had no idea what to do for the end skit. These are usually the toughest thing about any episode due to occasional creative block. I think it turned out OK.
Famicom - Donald Land, Popeye, Star Wars
PC Engine - Die Hard
Game Boy - Tokyo Disneyland Mikey no Cinderella jou Mystery Tour, Tokyo Disneyland Fantasy Tour
Game Boy Color - McDonald's Monogatari
Super Famicom - Mickey no Tokyo Disneyland Daiboken

Nintendo Switch - Kaze and the Wild Masks, The Messenger, Wallachia: Reign of Dracula
PlayStation 4 - Battle Axe, Dariusburst CS Chronicle Saviours, The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors
Xbox One - Shadow Gangs
*For the end skit I said "Yo Google" instead of "Hey Google" because I didn't want to trigger people's devices if they had them which would be super annoying when you're trying to watch something.
Taito Egret 2 Mini - All 40 built in games plus the 10 games included with the trackball/paddle controller.
*The 4th episode in a row dedicated to specific hardware. Regular episodes to return next week!

*Taking the Wii apart sucks, especially when it comes time to reassemble it. The stress is only multiplied when you're doing it as you're also doing stop motion animation.

*The episode was finished and uploaded when Blaze Entertainment released a fairly significant firmware update. So I added about 20 seconds to the video with quick addendums to some parts showing what was new or fixed in a given circumstance.
Arcade - Rastan, Rastan Saga 2, Rastan Saga 3: Warrior Blade
NES - Blaster Master
Genesis - Blaster Master 2

NES - Shadow of the Ninja
Genesis - Mystic Defender, Midnight Resistance
SNES - The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang
Sega CD - Cobra Command
PlayStation - Rage Racer
*The end skit "Lonely Gauntlet 4" was something I created long before Game Sack. It's stop motion animation at 24 frames per second from start to finish. No sequence was done "on 2s" It was painstakingly upscaled and regraded for this episode.
*More people really do need to play Mystic Defender. Just sayin'.

*The end skit is about the most powerful game the Sega Genesis has or ever will see... Will Harvey Presents Zany Golf!
Lots of different games for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and Game Gear are shown for demonstrative purposes.
*Released on a Monday morning due to Analogue's review embargo which lifted at 8am PST. Quite an unusual time for a Game Sack video release!
*I initially thought the embargo date was December 18 and not 13. Fortunately I was more than halfway completed with the video when I realized it was the 13th, just a few of days away at the time! It worked out for the better because the 18th would be a Saturday, and then I'd have a full new Game Sack episode released at midnight not even 24 hours later.
*Made after episodes 331, 333, 334, 335 and during the production of episode 336!
PlayStation 4 VR - Rez Infinite, Ace Combat 7, Until Dawn Rush of Blood, Batman Arkham VR, Everybody's Golf VR, Beat Saber, PlayStation VR Worlds, Blood & Truth, Pixel Ripped 1989, Pixel Ripped 1995, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, The Playroom VR, Wipeout Omega Collection, Job Simulator, Resident Evil 7, Moss, Déraciné, Farpoint
*I've been wanting to do this episode for a while and hope people enjoy it. I did my best not to move my head around too much as I know that can be disorienting to the viewer.
*There is no effect or filter applied to the video footage on the end skit... the bloom/glow is all done in-lens.
Arcade - Vendetta, The Kung-Fu Master Jackie Chan, Jackie Chan in Fists of Fury, Crime City, D.D. Crew, Magical Cat Adventure, Slipstream, The Crystal of Kings
*I'm starting to run out of arcade games I have the capability of showing on the show due to the lack of my emulation prowess and my general disinterest in learning more about advanced emulation which tends to require a lot of configuring.
Game Boy Color - Sakura Wars GB
SNES - Shin Megami Tensei, Shin Megami Tensei 2
Saturn - Saurka Wars, Bulk Slash
Dreamcast - Neon Genesis Evangelion Typing Project Advanced, Sakura Wars Columns 2
*Thanks to translator Burntends2 for all the help getting this episode together!

*I always thought an episode like this would be interesting so I finally decided to go ahead and do it.
*The Japanese Craig Stadler commercial uses real Japanese. I hope people laugh at it, even if they're laughing at my poor ability to speak the language or my inability to construct sentences that make sense.

Switch - Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
PlayStation 4 - Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
PlayStation 5 - Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
Xbox Series X - Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
*I knew I was going to make this episode some time ago, so I got a head start by playing, recording and editing the first part of the episode with Super Monkey Ball 1, 2, and Deluxe.
*Git Gud Gaming Inhalers are REAL. Once I saw those actually existed, I couldn't believe it and I just had to use them in a skit.
SNES - ActRaiser
Switch - Actraiser Renaissance
PlayStation 4 - Actraiser Renaissance
*This is very likely the fastest I've ever made an episode. The game launched on Thursday afternoon and the episode was done on Saturday morning.
Saturn - Contra Legacy of War

Nintendo 64 - Earthworm Jim 3D, Offroad Challenge, Mortal Kombat 4, Paperboy
PlayStation 2 - Mega Man X7
Gamecube - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
*The end skit is pretty crass. I hope it offends someone. The idea of it made me laugh so I went ahead and made it.
PlayStation 3 - Motor Storm, Heavenly Sword, God of War 3, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Little Big Planet, Little Big Planet 2, Little Big Planet Karting, Metal Gear Solid 4, Time Crisis Razing Storm, Time Crisis 4, Deadstorm Pirates, Genji -Days of the Blade, Uncharted, Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3, The House of the Dead 4, The House of the Dead Overkill, The Last of Us, Puppeteer, Gran Turismo 5, Hot Shots Golf Out of Bounds, Flower, Journey, Demon's Souls, Killzone 3, Ridge Racer 7
*This was probably a crazy project to take on just having finished the previous episode. Oh well didn't matter because it was still fun to make.

*I was originally going to do all US Saturn games, decided that was too much, then settled on all US TurboGrafx-16 games. One of my favorite Youtube series called Turbo Views was just about to finish his run of all US Turbo games so I figured I should start this series with all US Master System games. If it does well, the Turbo is next.
The following products are reviewed: Terraonion Super HD System 3 Pro, PS1 Digital, XStation, MemCard Pro
*This is the 4th week in a row with a new Game Sack episode.
*The reason I released this episode as early as I did was to keep ahead of firmware updates on the various products. As often is the case when I review products like these, a firmware update will come out before I release the episode and I have to scramble to change, add, delete, update the review so it's not out of date. That's a lot of extra work I'd have to do when I'd already be working on something else. It literally is the worst thing about reviewing products like these, so it's just best to get it out and done ASAP.
NES - Metal Gear, Skate or Die!, Q*Bert, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Snake's Revenge, Mission: Impossible, Rollergames, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game, Ski or Die
Game Boy - Motocross Maniacs, Nemesis, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan, Quarth, Operation C, Blades of Steel, Ultra Golf, World Circuit Series
*This episode was started in early 2017 and put on indefinite hold. All of the Ultra Games 3D logos had been rendered. Over 4 years later and I finally did the episode! It was good having the 3D stuff already complete.
PlayStation 5 - Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX
*I decided to get this game at the last moment since it was easily available physically for the PS5. I felt it made a good candidate for a review.
*Made entirely in two days.
NES - Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest
Master System - Ghouls 'n Ghosts
TurboGrafx-16 - Bloody Wolf
Genesis - Herzog Zwei, Streets of Rage 3
Nintendo 64 - Cruis'n USA
*I originally recorded Cruis'n USA to be included in a different episode, but I ended up liking it a lot more than I remembered. So that spawned the idea for this one.
*I wanted to do a video of me fixing the Neo Geo stick and I had this ending idea in my head for a while, it was just a matter of doing it.
The following devices are discussed:
Sony DVMC-DA1, Sony DSR-25, Blackmagic Intensity Pro, Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt, Startech PexHDCap, Elgato HD60, Avermedia Live Gamer 4K, Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2, Cloner Alliance Box Pro, Elgato 4K60S+, Magewell Pro Capture HDMI 4K Plus, and the Magewell USB Capture HDMI Gen 2
*Coury (from My Life in Gaming) and I had long since planned on collaborating on a video capture device video. I was originally gonna combine this with the upscaler video but that one grew to be too long. Coury and Try each edited their respective segments here.
*The Sega CD end skit was a last minute idea. I wanted to incorporate at least one of the guys from My Life in Gaming into the end skit. I had to wait for Coury to record his takes to I could react appropriately because I didn't know exactly how he'd play it.
Arcade - Double Dragon
NES - Double Dribble, Bad Dudes, The Adventures of Bayou Billy
Master System - Alex Kidd in Miracle World
Genesis - Sonic the Hedgehog
Sega CD - Robo Aleste
PlayStation - Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot
Dreamcast - Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2
*Thanks to Yoshi Vu for providing the HAL 9000 voice for the end skit.
The upscalers reviewed are the Generic HDMI Upscaler thingy, the Framemeister, the OSSC, The GBS-C AIO, and the RetroTink 5X.
*This episode was originally going to cover not only upscalers, but capture devices as well. It was split so they could be their own episodes as they are different beasts altogether and this episode was already long enough to stand on its own. Combined, this episode would've been over an hour. The capture device episode is #315, scroll up.

*Being in a coma for 5 years and somehow immediately knowing that when awakening from said coma is a reference to a very early video I made with my friends.
PlayStation 4 - Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
*Johnny Millennium (Happy Console Gamer) returns. Long time viewers will remember that he appeared in the other Ys episode from years and years ago.
*Presented in 4K 60 HDR mainly because the gameplay was captured that way since I was playing on a PS5. I figured it would be a good chance to test out the hDR workflow. It is NOT fun. NOt only do you have to worry about the HDR, you have to worry about how Youtube tonemaps it for non-HDR displays which isn't always very good. You can improve this by using the command-line-only Youtube metadata tool and giving it a LUT but it doesn't work very well either. It'll probably be a while before I do a long-form HDR video again on Youtube.
Game Boy - Death Track
32X - Virtua Hamster
Saturn - Bedlam, Crime Patrol, Colliderz
PlayStation - Superman
Nintendo 64 - Dinosaur Planet, Freak Boy, Viewpoint 2064
*I've been wanting to do an end skit like this for about 6 or 7 years now, but always keep forgetting about it because I am lazy.
Master System - F-16 Fighting Falcon
Neo Geo - Legend of Success Joe, Riding Hero, Burning Fight
3DO - Doom, Shadow: War of Succession
Saturn - Doom, Hard Core 4x4
PlayStation - Hooters Road Trip
Nintendo 64 - Mike Piazza's Strike Zone
Dreamcast - Ducati World, Nightmare Creatures II
*Originally the F-16 Fighting Falcon segment was written, recorded, and edited as a regular game review, just like all of the other games in the episode. I had remembered my Virtual Hydlide segment in the original episode of Games That Make the Console Look Weak, so I re-wrote and re-recorded the F-16 Fighting Falcon part. The only thing that remained was the shot of me with two controllers, which is why I don't look ExTreEe33mE in that shot.
*I had so much fun with the F-16 Fighting Falcon segment that I based the ending skit on a very similar premise.
*First episode shot in the renovated game room.

Various Saturn games shown for illustrative purposes.

PlayStation - Bugs Bunny Lost in Time
Nintendo 64 - Duck Dodgers starring Daffy Duck

Saturn - Nekketsu Oyaku, Goiken Muyou Anarchy in the Nippon

*The end skit involves a typical GameStop joke. I shot this long before the Game Stop stock thing went crazy, and this episode is releasing in the midst of it all. As a result I fear it may lose some of its intended humor as people will expect the joke to be about the stock thing. This end skit will get better with age when the stock thing is no longer at the front of people's minds.
